The management committee are prepared to arrange visits to groups around the city when new and existing group leaders and users can come and see the coach. Users may also wish to discuss problems arising from past bookings and to explore new opportunities. Please contact us on 07904556857 if you require further details.
The management committee are pleased to announce that the new coach arrived in mid July and is receiving favourable reviews from our user groups.
The management committee have taken the decision to replace the coach in spring 2013 with a brand new coach. Graham Fox, the chairman of Windmill Community Transport said "Windmill will continue to offer a great service to user groups and provide transport that members can feel proud to use".
Any user group wishing to express an opinion about the current coach can use the contact form to make suggestions regarding layout, comfort and facilities which may be incorporated on the new coach.
To enable Windmill to continue to provide the service to disadvantaged customers we need driver/s to work on a part time basis - good rate of pay for a suitable person. Persons suitably qualified with a full PCV licence and wheelchair handling procedures are invited to contact the charity for more information.
We always need volunteers to join the Board of Trustees to strengthen the skill base which currently exists. Meetings are held on a quarterly basis and last for approximately 2 to three hours.
We are keen to hear from any person who is prepared to devote their time to ensuring that Windmill continue to provide a quality service to disadvantaged people. We are particularly looking for Trustees who consider that they can make a contribution to the management of the organisation.
